Inspector General Police (IGP) Punjab Javed Iqbal has said that an investigation team has been constituted to look into the Lohari Gate suicide attack and trace the culprits.

"The investigation team would be headed by CCPO Lahore Aslam Tareen", he said while talking to the media men after the funeral prayers of the martyred policemen at Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh on Wednesday.

The IGP said that no "jehadi outfit" has yet accepted the responsibility for the Lahori Gate suicide attack.
