Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Tuesday submitted a copy of bill in Senate against illegal weapons, demanded deweaponization to free the country from illegal arms.

A copy of the bill submitted by MQM’s senior leader Babar Ghouri in the Senate Secretariat. Addressing a news conference after submitting the bill, Babar Ghouri said that landowners must be de-weaponized.

Ghouri said that MQM intend to hold a dialogue with the treasury and opposition parties to evolve a consensus.

He said that every part of the country should be de-weaponized. Babar Ghouri demanded all political parties to support the bill.
