At least eight people were killed in a mortar attack in North Waziristan on Thursday night.

Mortar shells, believed to have been fired from Afghanistan, hit a house in Spin wam area of North Waziristan, killing five men and three women.

Political Administration has confirmed the attack in North Waziristan.
