Appointment of governor Punjab challenged in LHC
The appointment of governor Punjab Latif Khosa has been challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday.
The petition was filed by Advocate Mohammad Jameel in LHC. In the Petition, Mohammad Jameel mentioned that Latif Khosa have accused of corruption.
Petitioner also mentioned that the nominated governor of Punjab has not eligible for the post and the personality of Latif Khosa does not comply with Article 62 and 63 of the constitution
Lahore High Court will start hearing of petition against the appointment of Latif Khosa on 19 January.
President Asif Zardari on Tuesday signed the summary for appointment of Latif Khosa as Governor Punjab.
