At least three people were killed and dozens of other injured in various fog-related accidents in Punjab on Sunday.

Heavy fog hit the Punjab, which disrupted air, rail and road services. This left hundreds of people stranded at airports and rail stations.

Various parts of motorway have been closed temporary closed.

The Meteorological Department predict that the fog will continue for more 10 days in the country’s plains, particularly in Punjab, while the intensity is likely to increase.
