The US drone on Friday carried out two missile strikes in North Waziristan, killing six persons and injuring several others.

The unmanned aircraft fired two missiles and hit vehicle in Tehsil Datta Khel near Miranshah in North Waziristan, killing two persons.

Later, some villagers reached there to retrieve the bodies and injured from the site when US drone appeared and started firing missiles on those engaged in rescue work.

Four people were killed and several others injured in the second attack.

The identity of the victims could not be immediately ascertained.
