At least fifteen people were killed in three US drone attacks in North Waziristan on Saturday at the beginning of new year.

The first missile attack apparently took place at 0820 am in Tehsil Spain wam, killing six people, when the vehicle was targeted.

The unmanned aircraft fired four missiles on a vehicle. The vehicle was destroyed in the attack.

The locals rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies for burial. The identity of the victims could not be immediately ascertained.

Minutes later, another missile strike targeted another vehicle in the same area, killing at least 5 people.

The US drone fired two missile on a vehicle.

On the other hand, the drone fired missile on a vehicle in Gharoski area of North Waziristan, killing four people.
