The appointment of all four provincial governors on Wednesday challenged in Supreme Court (SC).

Syed Zafar Ali Shah of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has filed a petition in SC against the appointment of all governors, seeking removal of them.

Senetor Zafar has argued that the appointment of governors had made before the 18th Amendment.

He said that the governors had been appointed in Pervez Musharraf's era, which has now become unconstitutional.

The petitioner further requested the Apex Court to ask the governors to quit offices and termed appointment of four provincial governors illegal.
