Four people killed in traffic accidents in Punjab, KPK
At least four people were killed in fog-related traffic accidents in Punjab and Khyber PakhtunKhawa (KPK) on Monday.
A pile-up involving 14 cars and lorries on Charsadda-Peshawar motorway near Swat River caused by a bout of heavy fog, killed two persons and injured dozens others.
The injured and the dead have been shifted to different hospitals. After the incident, traffic on the Charsadda-Peshawar motorway was totally paralyzed.
On the other hand, two people were killed when a car collided with a tree in Arif wala. In other accident in Sheikhopura, five people were injured.
In other parts of the Punjab and KPK the freezing conditions and heavy snow is causing problems with major roads being forced to close.
