PCO judges case: Hearing adjourned till Jan 3
The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of a contempt-of-court case against Provisional Constitution Order (PCO) judges till January 3, 2011.
A 4-member bench comprising Justices Mahmood Akhtar Shahid Siddiqui, Jawwad S. Khwaja, Khilji Arif Hussain and Tariq Parvez was hearing contempt of court case against PCO judges for taking oath under PCO in defiance of a restraining order issued by a seven-member bench of the apex court on November 3, 2007.
During the hearing, Justice Jawwad S. Khwaja said that the mistakes of judges should be identified.
The Apex Court adjourned the hearing of the case till 3 January, 2011.
