Missing prisoners are no more missing
Intelligence agencies on Thursday admitted the custody of eleven missing prisoners of Adiala jail in the Supreme Court (SC).
A three-member bench of the apex court, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, heard the petition for the recovery of the eleven missing prisoners.
During the hearing Raja Irshad, lawyer of Intelligence agencies has confirmed the custody of eleven Adiala prisoners.
Intelligence agencies lawyer said that all eleven are safe, they are high profile terrorists and involved in major terrorist activities in the country.
He said that they are being court martialled under army act. He further said that the prisoners were shifted to unidentified place and being investigated.
The hearing adjourned till tomorrow.
