Renowned Folk and sufi singer Abida Parveen on Sunday Suffered a cardio attack.

Abida Parveen was admitted to the Doctors Hospital in Lahore after complaining of chest pains.

Soon ahead she was moved to ICU where she has to be kept under observation for the next 24 hours.

The doctors said that she’s now out of danger but will be criticially examined and observed. She was also operated for angioplasty at ICU.

“She is out of danger but will have to remain in hospital for at least 5 days,” doctor said.

The singer has millions of fans in Pakistan, India and all over the world, which she often visits for performances.
