Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Sunday said that Taliban and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi were coordinating with each other for terror activities in the country.

Talking to media on arrival at the Jinnah International Terminal on Sunday, he said, the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was also supporting the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.

Rehman said that there was no external hand involved in creating terrorism and it is local people who were involved in these criminal activities. He said Lashkar-e-Jhangvi was involved in Karachi terrorism.

He said that situation of the metropolis has improved and there is no need to call army in the city.

Malik warned corrupt people and said that MQM's chief Altaf Hussain have supported campaign against corruption.
