Security forces mowed down 3 militants in mountainous Shangla district in Swat during exchange of fire on Tuesday, security official said.

The forces challenged the militants in Tehsil Puran, Shangla district bordering Swat, Buner and Mardan districts but they started firing at the forces patrol. In exchange of fire, 3 insurgents were killed.
