54 Pakistani prisoners to arrive today
At least 54 Pakistani prisoners including 47 fishermen will arrive at Wagah border today after their release by the Indian government.
They will be received by the officials of Sindh-based Fishermen's Cooperative Society Ltd (FCS), according to its statement issued on Sunday.
7 Pakistanis released by the Indian Government were imprisoned there on miscellaneous charges while 34 were Karachi- based fishermen and 13 hail from district of Thatta, it was learnt.
The FCS will facilitate their travel to Karachi and they are likely to arrive here on Wednesday or Thursday after completion of formalities by Pakistani authorities at Wagah.
