KP varsities on strike until Prof. Ajmal's release
Educational activities in all Khyber Pakhtoon Khawa (KP) varisities suspended as protest against the failure of authorities in releasing the abducted Vice Chancellor of the Islamia College University, Peshawar.
VC Islamia College University Professor Ajmal Khan, abducted by the unknown persons believed to be extremist, has asked the authorities accept demands made by extremists in a new video message sent to the media offices on Sunday.
Lecturers association in KP in urgently called meeting on Sunday after watching the video message on private news channels of VC announced to boycott the classes from Monday onwards.
They have demanded of the government to take urgent measures to get the VC released at the earliest.
VC Prof Ajmal was kidnapped on September 7.
