BISP to bring revolutionary changes: Kirmatullah

Speaker Khyber Pakthunkhwa Assembly, Kirmatullah Khan said on Thursday that Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) would bring very positive change in lives of poor and downtrodden masses.

Addressing a function regarding the Poverty Survey under the BISP at Nishtar Hall here, the Speaker said BISP is a ambition and goal-oriented programme specially designed to improve lots of poor strata.

He urged all political workers to play their active role for success of this programme. The Speaker said Watan card distribution is underway in flood-hit areas of Khyber Pakthunkhwa and that cards would also bee issued to victims who were left.

He urged people to give correct information to officials during Poverty Survey so that no deserving person should be left alone.

The Speaker said this programmes has been started with name of charismatic leader Benazir Bhutto Shaheed who had always raised voice and fought for the rights of oppressed and poor strata.

The democracy had returned after matchless sacrifice by PPP Chairperson Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed and political forces and her supreme sacrifice would not go waste. Later, he distributed bags among officials conducted survey under BISP programme in different areas of the province.
