Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali on Saturday challenged the appointment of Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Deedar Shah in the Supreme Court (SC).

In the petition, opposition leader Nisar Ali maintained that the Supreme Court’s verdict on National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) could not be implemented until the appointment of new NAB chairman be reversed, arguing that the government did not follow the constitutional procedure of consultation in the matter.

The Petition was filed by Advocate Akram Sheikh on behalf of Ch. Nisar.
