PPP’s history replete with sacrifices: Babar Awan
Federal Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Dr Babar Awan on Saturday said the history of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was replete with great sacrifices for democracy and welfare of the people. Addressing a public meeting at Jhawiran, he said the doors for dictatorship had been closed forever in the country after the 18th Amendment.He said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had nourished the PPP with his own blood, added that democracy was running in the blood of every worker of the party.
Babar Awan said that the chapter of Pervaiz Musharaf had been closed once for all, added that a law violator would not be allowed to return to Pakistan.
The federal minister said that the conspirators,who were hatching conspiracies against an elected democratic government would have to face humiliation and defeat again.
He said that the PPP came into power with help of the masses, adding that the PPP would remain in power with the support of the people.
