Security forces have killed six suspected terrorists and arrested several others, including female suicide bombers, during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Mastung district, security sources said on Thursday.

The operation was carried out in the Khad Kocha area, where security forces launched a timely and targeted raid based on intelligence inputs.

Security sources said the six militants belonged to Fitna al-Hindustan. Several other suspects were taken into custody during the operation, including women allegedly trained as suicide bombers.

The forces also destroyed multiple militant hideouts and recovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition, the sources said.

Search and clearance operations remain underway in the area, while security forces have maintained a tight security cordon to prevent any militants from escaping.

According to security sources, intelligence-based operations have been intensified across Balochistan as part of an ongoing campaign against militant groups.

The sources added that security forces will continue operations until peace and stability are fully restored in the province.
