The government announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products, raising the price of petrol by Rs13.18 per litre and high-speed diesel by Rs13.80 per litre.

According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the new prices came into effect from Saturday at 12 am.

The price of petrol increased from Rs297.53 per litre to Rs310.71 per litre, up Rs13.18 per litre.

Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel increased by Rs13.80 per litre, rising from Rs318.50 per litre to Rs332.30 per litre.
