Govt keeps petrol, diesel prices unchanged for another week

The government has decided to keep petrol and diesel prices unchanged for the next week, according to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division.

Under the latest pricing decision, the price of petrol will remain at Rs299.50 per litre, while high-speed diesel will continue to be sold at Rs311.47 per litre.

The revised prices came into effect last night.

According to another notification, the government has reduced the price of kerosene oil by Rs6.85 per litre.

The new price of kerosene has been fixed at Rs227.05 per litre, down from the previous rate of Rs233.90 per litre.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) issued the notification confirming the decision.
