A third earthquake struck Balochistan’s Kohlu district and surrounding areas on the same day, with the latest tremor measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The PMD said the first earthquake was recorded at 10:25 a.m., followed by a second at 10:58 a.m. A third tremor was felt at 4:49 p.m.
According to the department, the latest earthquake had a magnitude of 5.1 and occurred at a depth of 17 kilometres.
The epicentre was located about 60 kilometres northeast of Kohlu, the PMD said.
Tremors were also felt in the districts of Zhob, Barkhan and Rakhni. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
