Turkish ambassador meets Dar, reaffirms support for Pakistan’s peace efforts

Turkiye’s ambassador to Pakistan, Irfan Neziroglu, met Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, where both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and promoting regional peace.

During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed a message of appreciation and support from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to foster peace and stability in the Middle East.

The Turkish leadership expressed backing for Islamabad’s constructive role in addressing regional challenges, according to a statement from the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office.

Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to advancing lasting peace in the region, emphasising continued diplomatic engagement to promote stability.

He also welcomed close coordination and regular high-level exchanges between Pakistan and Turkiye, reaffirming Islamabad’s resolve to further deepen the strategic partnership across diverse sectors.

Both sides expressed satisfaction over the positive momentum in bilateral relations and underscored the importance of sustained collaboration to address shared regional and global challenges.
