The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the results of the CSS Examination 2025, with only 355 candidates qualifying the written stage out of 12,792 applicants, reflecting a pass rate of 2.67%.
According to the commission, 170 candidates have been recommended for appointment, including 84 men and 86 women.
As per the results, Aseed Rafiq secured first position, followed by Mohammad Mohsin Khalid in second place and Tariq Hafeez in third.
The top 30 candidates have been allocated to key service groups, including the Pakistan Administrative Service and the Police Service of Pakistan.
Notably, no candidate was allocated to the Foreign Service of Pakistan this year.
In terms of regional representation, 23 of the top 30 candidates belong to Punjab, while Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have two candidates each.
Balochistan is represented by three candidates among the top performers.
The CSS examination is considered one of the most competitive recruitment processes for Pakistan’s civil services, with consistently low success rates.
