K-pop group BTS have secured a major milestone on the Billboard 200, with their latest album ARIRANG holding the No.1 spot for three consecutive weeks.

The achievement marks a first for a Korean artist, as ARIRANG becomes the first album from the country to remain at the top of the chart for more than one week, extending its run to three weeks.

With this, BTS are also the first group since Mumford & Sons in 2012 to spend three straight weeks at No.1 on the Billboard 200.

They are additionally the first act since Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl to debut and remain at the top position for the first three weeks of release.

In the latest tracking week ending April 9, the album recorded 124,000 equivalent units, including over 52 million on-demand streams, reflecting the group’s strong global reach.

Beyond the charts, BTS performed the album live during a three-night residency at Goyang Stadium.

The concerts featured a mix of new tracks and fan favourites such as Spring Day, I Need U, and Run, drawing strong reactions from fans.

The shows also saw appearances by artists including IU, Epik High, WOODZ, LOCO, Park Hyo Shin and Younha, along with younger acts such as LE SSERAFIM and BABYMONSTER members Ahyeon and Chiquita.

Actors including Lee Jung Jae and Im Si Wan were also in attendance.

Fans widely shared moments from the performances online, highlighting the group’s on-stage chemistry and connection with audiences.
