Drizzle in several parts of Karachi, including I.I. Chundrigar Road, Saddar, the Old City area, and M.A. Jinnah Road, on Thursday morning turned the weather pleasant.

Intermittent drizzle and light rain have also been reported in neighbourhoods, including Malir, Korangi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, PECH Society and others.

A spokesperson for the power utility K-Electric said that rain has been forecast in Karachi and its surrounding areas, and as a precautionary measure, power supply may be temporarily suspended in some localities.

According to the K-Electric spokesperson, electricity will be restored once the rain subsides and clearance reports are received from field teams.
