Seven killed in marble mine collapse in Mardan, rescue efforts continue

At least seven people were killed and three others injured after a marble mine collapsed in the Rustam area of Mardan, rescue officials said on Tuesday.

According to Rescue 1122, around 10 people were trapped under debris when the incident occurred in Nungabad.

Emergency teams reached the site shortly after the collapse and launched rescue operations.

The bodies of the deceased and injured victims were shifted to Rustam Hospital, where medical treatment is ongoing for the injured.

Rescue officials said operations were continuing at the site to clear debris and ensure no additional victims remain trapped.
