Domestic and foreign airlines have increased flights across Pakistan for Eid-ul-Fitr, with 31 departures recorded despite ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

Airport sources said flights from Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, and Sialkot to the UAE are now using Al Ain Airport instead of Fujairah.

Sources added that flight cancellations have dropped significantly, falling from 90–100 previously to 42 currently.

Additionally, arrivals from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Riyadh, and Dammam have increased to facilitate passengers reaching their destinations on time.

Airport officials emphasised that the measures aim to manage Eid travel efficiently amid regional instability.
