Punjab CM launches climate leadership internship for youth

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the Climate Leadership Development Internship Program, offering youth practical experience in the Environment Protection Authority and Environmental Policy Unit on Sunday.

Interns will receive Rs 60,000 per month and a certificate after three months, with 50% of seats reserved for female students.

Youth can apply online until March 29 at https://epd.punjab.gov.pk/climateinternship.

Participants may also have the opportunity to obtain UNESCO certification and gain awareness of modern learning management systems.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasised that every youth can contribute to environmental improvement, noting a decline in pollution in Punjab, especially Lahore.
