Earthquake tremors were felt in several areas of Karachi on Friday night, including Landhi, Khurramabad, Malir and Korangi, according to the seismological centre.

Residents reported feeling the tremors in the affected areas, causing concern among locals.

The seismological centre said the earthquake had a magnitude of 4, while its depth was recorded at 10 kilometres.

According to the centre, the epicentre of the earthquake was located about 100 kilometres south of Karachi.

The reports of tremors were received from Landhi Khurramabad, Malir and Korangi, the seismological centre added.
