Pakistan beat Australia by 111 runs in the third T20I

Pakistan wrapped up a historic 3–0 clean sweep of Australia with a dominant 111-run victory in the final T20I at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.

After electing to bat first, the Green Shirts posted a formidable total of 207 for 5, driven by a sharp 56-run opening knock from Saim Ayub and a steady unbeaten 50 from Babar Azam.

The innings received a late surge from Shadab Khan, who smashed 46 runs off just 19 balls, while Khawaja Nafay added a quick-fire 21 to ensure a daunting target for the tourists.

In response, Australia’s batting line-up crumbled against a clinical Pakistani bowling attack, with only Marcus Stoinis and Cameron Green managing to cross the 20-run mark.

Mohammad Nawaz was the standout performer with the ball, claiming a magnificent five-wicket haul to dismantle the opposition.

Shaheen Afridi supported with two wickets, while Abrar Ahmed and Naseem Shah took one apiece to wrap up a comprehensive victory and secure Pakistan’s first T20I series win over Australia in seven years.
