President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday arrived in Abu Dhabi on a four-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates, which will continue until January 29.
He was received at the Presidential Flight Terminal of Zayed International Airport by UAE Minister of Justice Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi. Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Shafqat Ali Khan, was also present.
First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi are accompanying the president during the visit.
During his stay, President Zardari will hold meetings with the UAE leadership to review all aspects of bilateral relations. Discussions will focus on trade, economic partnership, defence, security cooperation and the promotion of people-to-people contacts.
The visit underscores the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates and reflects the shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation and partnership.
