Earthquakes struck Balochistan’s Khuzdar and Sibi districts, measuring 3.3 and 4.0 on the Richter scale, but no casualties have been reported.
The 3.3-magnitude quake in Khuzdar had its epicentre 12 kilometres from the city, while a 4.0-magnitude tremor hit Sibi and surrounding areas, centred 50 kilometres southwest at a depth of 10 kilometres.
Officials confirmed that despite the tremors, no loss of life has been reported.
Balochistan lies largely in a seismic red zone, making the region prone to earthquakes.
