The Islamabad High Court on Thursday suspended the decision by Justice Babar Sattar to remove the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) chairman from office.
A two-member bench, comprising Justice Muhammad Asif and Justice Inam Amin Minhas, heard intra-court appeals against the decision to remove the PTA chairman.
Advocate Qasim Wadood, representing PTA Chairman Major-General (retd) Hafeez-ur-Rehman, along with the additional attorney-general and other parties, appeared before the court.
The Intra-court appeals had been filed by the PTA, the federal government, and the PTA chairman.
