Energy Minister, World Bank discuss key transmission project for Pakistan’s power future

Federal Minister for Energy Owais Leghari met with World Bank Country Director Najy Benhassine and energy experts in Islamabad to discuss the Matiari-Moro-Rahim Yar Khan transmission line project.

According to sources, the meeting focused on the feasibility and potential benefits of the project, with detailed deliberations between the minister and World Bank specialists.

Minister of State Abdul Rehman Kanju was also present as various aspects of the project were reviewed.

Minister Owais Leghari emphasised the importance of the National Transmission & Dispatch Company’s control in ensuring the project’s success.
