Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Sher Afzal Marwat has stated that he will only resign if the PTI founder personally asks him to.
Speaking on Aaj TV’s programme “Spotlight” with Munizae Jahangir, Marwat also alleged that Shehbaz Gill stole two of Imran Khan’s phones and handed them over to former ISI chief Faiz Hameed.
Discussing Pakistan’s security situation, Marwat said that despite multiple operations, terrorism remains uncontrolled.
He warned that incidents like the recent train attack in Balochistan could increase and criticised the enforced disappearances in the province.

Marwat lamented that his constituency contributes over Rs14 billion annually to the national treasury from oil and gas revenues but receives nothing in return, fueling resentment among locals.
He also denied any conflict with Aleema Khan or Bushra Bibi and claimed that PTI’s internal politics led to conspiracies against him.
He criticised the party culture, stating that members are expected to endure hardships while remaining submissive. He asserted that PTI’s social media has grown so powerful that even the party founder cannot control it.
Regarding dynastic politics, Marwat emphasised that Imran Khan has never granted positions to family members, nor has any female relative contested elections under PTI.
