Chief justice meets SCBA delegation, discusses judicial reforms

Chief Justice Yahya Afridi met with a delegation from the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) to discuss judicial reforms and other key matters, according to an official statement.

The delegation, led by SCBA President Mian Rauf Atta, engaged in discussions on judicial reforms and related issues.

The bar president stated that the meeting with the chief justice was held in the context of his recent meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

He added that the chief justice is consulting all stakeholders under the National Judicial Policy-Making Committee to improve the justice system. The SCBA assured its full support for the reform process.

Judicial reforms are a pressing need, and these meetings will contribute to political stability and restore public trust in the judiciary.
