PCB announces pick order for PSL 10 player draft

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the pick order for the Player Draft of the upcoming season 10 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The draft is set to take place in Gwadar, Balochistan, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, with the exact start time to be announced later.

In the first round, two-time champions Lahore Qalandars will have the first platinum pick, followed by Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators.

Peshawar Zalmi will make the fourth pick, while last season’s runners-up, Multan Sultans, and reigning champions Islamabad United will select fifth and sixth, respectively.

The second round of the platinum category will proceed in reverse order, starting with Islamabad United. Each franchise will have three picks across the platinum, diamond, and gold categories.

Karachi Kings will lead the diamond category with the first pick, while Multan Sultans and Islamabad United will kick off the second and third rounds.

In the gold category, Peshawar Zalmi will select first in the initial round, followed by Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans.

Additionally, the PCB will announce details regarding player retention and relegation at the end of December.
