The Sindh Education Department has officially announced the schedule for the matriculation and intermediate examinations for the year 2025.
Following a recent meeting of the steering committee, the department confirmed that the exams will be held in March and April.
According to the notification, the ninth and tenth-grade examinations are set for March 15, 2025, while the eleventh and twelfth-grade exams will take place on April 15, 2025. The results for the matriculation exams are expected to be released by July 15, 2025, and the intermediate results will follow on August 15, 2025.
In addition to the exam schedule, the notification outlined the start of the new academic year.
Schools in Sindh will commence the 2025-26 academic session on April 1, 2025, while colleges will begin their new year on August 1, 2025.

The education department also confirmed that the existing schedule for winter and summer vacations will remain in effect. Summer vacations are scheduled from June 1 to July 31, and winter vacations will be observed from December 22 to December 31.
The Karachi Board of Secondary Education announced the schedule for submission of matriculation exam forms for the 2025 exams two months ago, which was from September 11 to 25, 2024.
