The PIB police have been accused of robbing a foreign chef, with allegations of both theft and physical assault.
The victim, Khyber Masood, claimed that police officers not only seized his money but also subjected him to violence.
In response to the incident, the Senior Superintendent of Police for District East has taken immediate action, suspending the officers involved and confirming their detention.
The accused officers have been taken into custody and suspended, according to the SSP East.
