Four suspected robbers killed in police encounter in Lahore’s Green Town

A police encounter in the Green Town area of Lahore resulted in the deaths of four suspected robbers. The incident occurred when police conducted a raid to apprehend the suspects, who opened fire on the officers.

In the exchange of gunfire that followed, all four suspects were killed. Additionally, two police personnel, including the Station House Officer (SHO) and a constable, sustained injuries from the robbers’ gunfire.

Authorities reported that the deceased suspects were allegedly involved in bank robberies and had committed several crimes in various locations, including the Industrial Estate, just days prior to the encounter.

The police have identified three of the deceased robbers as Rizwan, Zain, and Ali. Their bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and efforts are ongoing to capture any remaining accomplices.
