The Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) has predicted dry weather in certain areas across the country.
According to PMD, continental air is dominating most regions of the country, with a shallow westerly wave expected to approach the extreme northern areas starting tomorrow evening.
Most areas are anticipated to experience dry weather, with colder temperatures in hilly regions during the morning and night. Gilgit-Baltistan may see partly cloudy conditions. Smog is expected to persist across much of Punjab, with isolated patches of fog and dense fog likely in some areas during the night on Friday (today).
Similar dry conditions are forecasted across the country, with cold temperatures in hilly areas during the morning and night. Gilgit-Baltistan may experience partly cloudy weather, accompanied by light rain and light snowfall over high mountains in the evening and night on Saturday.
Smog will likely continue in most parts of Punjab, with patches of fog and dense fog expected in isolated locations during the morning and night hours.
However, on Sunday, cloudy weather with chances of rain (light snowfall over mountain) are likely at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Chitral, Swat, Dir, Abbottabad, Manshera, Batagram and Kohistan.

From Monday to Wednesday, areas including Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Murree, Galliyat, Chitral, Swat, Dir, Abbottabad, Manshera, Batagram, Kohistan and Pothohar region can experience rain.
However, dry weather to remain prevelant in other areas of Pakistan throughout the week.
