Residents across much of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and Umm Al Quwain experienced a foggy morning today. The Meteorological Office has issued red and yellow alerts for coastal areas due to fog, effective until 9:30 AM.
The weather bureau reported dense fog in regions such as Al Falah, Saih Shuaib, Rizeen, Al Ajban, and Abu Al Abyad in Abu Dhabi, as well as Al Khaznah in Al Ain. In Dubai, fog patches were noted over areas like Al Aweer, Warsan, Al Khawaneej, and Emirates Road. Drivers are urged to proceed with caution due to reduced visibility on the roads.
According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the overall weather is expected to be sunny with occasional clouds. Humidity will increase overnight and into Tuesday morning, with a likelihood of fog or mist forming in some coastal and inland areas.
Maximum temperatures in the internal regions are forecasted to range from 33 to 38°C, while coastal areas and islands can expect highs between 31 and 35°C. Mountainous areas will see temperatures between 23 and 28°C.
Light to moderate winds are anticipated, blowing from the Southeast to Northeast at speeds of 10 to 20 km/h, potentially reaching up to 30 km/h.
The sea conditions are expected to remain relatively calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
