Four children, including three brothers, were electrocuted to death in Ghar Mitha of the district Tank in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday.
The ages of the children, who belonged to the same family, ranged from 10 to 12 years. The Deputy Commissioner Tank, Tanveer Ahmad, confirmed the the incident and expressed condolences to the affected family.
According to family sources, the children were herding livestock at a local pasture when the incident occurred. The police have stated that an investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
The Deputy Commissioner assured that action would be taken against those found responsible.
