A security guard shot and killed a 7-year-old boy in Lahore for ‘trespassing’.
The incident occurred in Lahore’s Chohang area. The child was playing cricket nearby and had gone to the farmhouse for water when the guard, identified as Nazir, opened fire, resulting in the child’s immediate death.
Authorities reported that Nazir was apprehended while attempting to flee to Okara. The police recovered the weapon used in the shooting.
The child’s father has filed a complaint, leading to an official registration of the case.
The First Information Report (FIR) indicates that just days before the tragedy, Nazir had warned the boy against drinking water from the farmhouse.
