Karachi is currently experiencing a severe heat wave as a low-pressure area has formed in the Arabian Sea, southeast of the city.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the weather is expected to remain hot and dry for the next 24 hours, with maximum temperatures predicted to reach between 37 and 39 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature today was recorded at 24.4 degrees Celsius, accompanied by humidity levels of 51%.
The low-pressure system is situated at approximately 1,000 kilometers southeast of Karachi, specifically at latitude 17.0 N and longitude 72.0 E.
