The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a forecast predicting rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in several cities across the country.
The forecast indicates that Islamabad and its surrounding areas may experience rain with thunder. Other regions expected to see rainfall include Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Narowal, and Sialkot.
Rainfall is also likely in Rawalpindi, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Gujrat, and Gujranwala.
In addition to these areas, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Shorkot, Faisalabad, Mianwali, Toba Tek Singh, Sahiwal, Jhang, Sargodha, Layyah, Multan, Taunsa, Bhakkar, Dera Ghazi Khan, and neighboring regions may see isolated rain showers.
The forecast further anticipates rain in the northern regions, including Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Chitral, Dir, Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, Peshawar, Buner, Malakand, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Kurram, and Waziristan. Heavy winds and thunderstorms are expected in Tank and Dera Ismail Khan.

Meanwhile, most districts in Sindh and Balochistan are predicted to experience hot and dry weather, though rain is expected in Zhob, Barkhan, Musakhel, Loralai, Khuzdar, and Quetta.
Also, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir may experience rain accompanied by strong winds and thunder.
