Actor Aagha Ali has confirmed his divorce from Hina Altaf, putting an end to two years of speculation surrounding their relationship.
He said this during a conversation with Ahmed Ali Butt on a podcast, a clip of which has since gone viral on social media.
In the popular video, Butt referred to Ali as a “happily divorced man,” eliciting laughter and a scoff from Ali, who remarked, “You just knocked someone down from a height.”
He acknowledged that the decision to separate was challenging but expressed relief that they did not have children, as that would have complicated matters further.
While reflecting on his personal experiences, Ali discussed the difficulties of growing up without parental support after losing his father at the age of five.
He noted that this background has shaped his views on marriage and relationships. “Any relationship that begins with mutual consent deserves effort and prayer,” he stated, suggesting that sometimes, parting ways “is the healthiest choice” despite one’s best efforts.

Despite the breakup, Ali emphasised the importance of mutual respect between former partners, highlighting that many couples struggle to maintain respect after a separation.
Aagha Ali and Hina Altaf were married in May 2020, but by 2022, rumours about their separation began to surface, despite Ali’s earlier denials of suchclaims.
In August, television host Madihah Naqvi mentioned their divorce during a live broadcast but later issued an apology, stating that she had misspoken.
