The federal capital administration reopened most roads for traffic in Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Sunday after the dispersal of PTI protesters.
The administration has restored traffic on both sides of Rawat T-Cross and Koral Chowk. Khanna Bridge, Faizabad, Murree Road, and the Express Highway have been opened for traffic in both directions.
Peshawar Mor, Golra Mor, Chungi Number 8, Chungi Number 26, and the Motorway Link Road have also been accessible for traffic.
Traffic has been reopened on the J-14, Srinagar Highway, Seventeen Mile Toll Plaza, and Barakahu in both directions. Katti Pahari on GT Road is also accessible for traffic from both sides.
But all entry and exit points to the federal capital’s Red Zone remain closed, except for Margalla Road. The Zero Point Express Highway and Srinagar Highway are closed to traffic in both directions.
Moreover, Khayaban Bridge, Faisal Avenue, and Jinnah Avenue are also blocked for traffic from both sides.
The administration continues to monitor the situation closely as the aftermath of the PTI protests unfolds.
